I see, feel and smell summer on every ride.. This is my favorite time to ride my mountain bike, and with a light race schedule, the past month has been more about riding and less about training or racing. I have tried to include a weekly slightly more epic ride at either Wawayanda or Allamuchy. Big less traveled parks filled with adventure, even if some of the trails are familiar, the woods are always changing. Trees fall down, ferns grow bigger, rain make streams, or a turtle decides to sit in the middle of a trail. I enjoy this time.
